Boolean Modifier


To make a hole in a mesh.
First make the shape in which you want to make a hole.
Then Add Mesh Object
Do this in Object Mode (!)

MAke sure that you enable the Boolean modifier in Edit -> Preferences



Then Add a mesh to be used as a hole and move it to the right spot to make the hole.


Select the object where you want to make the hole IN.
Go to the modifier tab


Select Difference, Solver Options: Self intersect and Select the Cylinder object
Apply




Hide or delete the mesh you used to create the hole with.
